Energize Group employees are very pleased to donate £6,370 to Huntington’s Disease Association, a charity supporting families of our colleagues
Concluding a fundraising initiative, Energize Group staff raised the entire donation through their own generosity.
Huntington's disease, a genetic illness caused by a faulty gene in a person’s DNA, is a progressive condition that causes involuntary muscle movements, cognitive decline, and behavioural changes. Fortunately for sufferers in the UK, the Huntington’s Disease Association charity is on-hand to support entire families, carers, healthcare professionals, employers and teachers.
The £6,370 donated by Energize Group employees enables the Association to provide 28 full days support from Specialist Advisers, up to 84 hours of digital support through webinars, or 200 hours of telephone support.
Jessie Scott, chair of the Charity & Social Value employee network at Energize Group, spearheaded this fundraising campaign by driving donations generously provided by colleagues across both Manchester and Madrid offices.
“I wanted to say a huge thanks to all Energizers that donated towards the Huntington’s Disease Association. Your donation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those personally affected by Huntington’s disease, including families of several coworkers at Energize Group whose parents, siblings and spouses all affected. Thanks to your kindness, Huntington’s Disease Association can continue to raise awareness, provide essential resources to families, and fund critical research to find better treatments in 2025 and the years ahead.”
By demonstrating our shared Value ‘Do The Right Thing’, together we are making a significant impact both within our organisation and in the communities where we live.
Huntington's Disease Association is a charity registered in England and Wales, Registered charity number 296453, Company number 2021975.
