Our latest analysis reaffirms the strong business case for both gender diversity and ethnic and cultural diversity in corporate leadership—and shows that this business case continues to strengthen. The most diverse companies are now more likely than ever to outperform less diverse peers on profitability. A 2019 study finds that companies in the top quartile for gender diversity on executive teams were 25 percent more likely to have above-average profitability than companies in the fourth quartile—up from 21 percent in 2017 and 15 percent in 2014 [Diversity wins: How inclusion matters, McKinsey & Company]
These strategies help create a more positive and productive workplace environment for current employees and new applicants, as well as hiring managers and organisation leaders. Examples of such initiatives include analysis and process improvements to vacancy advertising, applicant shortlisting, candidate interviewing, employee onboarding and an organisation value proposition. Through diversified talent pools, organisations ensure they can attract and select the very best person for the position. This results in authentic, lasting structural change in digital technology sectors and supports business growth for the future. In summary, Energize Group is formally among the "most-qualified" businesses for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the staffing and recruitmet sector, according to Ed Jervis, founder of Inclusion Crowd and a leading DEI consultant.
“Diversity, Equity & Inclusion has in many parts of the recruitment sector become overused and rife with tokenism. Energize are bringing true leadership authenticity and deploying solutions that are focused on outputs, rather than soundbites and noise. Well done Patrick, Jenna and Jenny, what a massive achievement; it took such a high level of commitment to achieve this level. Your passion shines through and I have no doubt you are the next thought-leaders in this space,” said Ed Jervis, Founder at Inclusion Crowd.
The course content comprised of a six month studying and examination period, including seminars and workshops, online assessments, and a 5,000-word written submission.
