Freelance SAP PP-MRP Business Analyst
Overview: For one of my key customers, I am seeking an experienced freelance SAP PP-MRP Business Analyst for an initiative aimed at consolidating fragmented landscapes resulting from mergers and acquisitions into one ECC system. The project encompasses 6 sites across North and South America and Europe. The client is deploying the SAP blueprint and will conduct design sessions for fit-gap analysis to achieve full alignment with the business and the integration partner.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the intermediary between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP-MRP – you will not be configurating the system yourself.
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
- Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
- Conduct workshops to collect business requirements.
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives - Proactively propose business process and system enhancements.
- Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
- Design, and test PP and QM modules.
- Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.
- Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting software problems.
- Document functional designs and test cases
Key Skills:
- Senior-level expertise in SAP PP – minimum 7 years
- Manufacturing business process and relevant SAP Solution in SAP modules PP-MRP.
- Understanding of accounting business processes.
- Experience or Knowledge about other modules like QM, WM and MM would be a plus
- Extensive experience with multiple implementation projects.
- Previous experience in the medical/pharma industry regulatory context is highly desirable.
Contract Details:
Start Date: August
Contract Length: Until the end of 2025
Languages: English (Spanish is a bonus)
Rate: Market rates €/day
Location: Remote (must be available for global travel to customer sites including North America and Europe, for important points of the project such as workshops, training, go-live support)
Travel Expenses: To be paid by the customer
