SAP BTP Consultant/Architect

Energize is currently looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP BTP Architect to support our customer in their migration from an on-premise landscape to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role focuses on designing end-to-end integration architecture between BTP, S/4HANA, and multiple non-SAP systems, while guiding developers and solution architects across specialised functional domains.
 
Responsibilities:
• Define the BTP architecture for migration from an on-premise system
• Architect integrations between BTP, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems
• Provide technical and functional guidance to developers and solution architects
• Ensure alignment with ISA-M methodology and integration best practices
• Support B2B trading integrations using SAP Integration Advisor
• Oversee architectural governance, documentation, and design quality
• Contribute to testing strategy, UAT support, and CI/CD enablement
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient BTP architectural designs
 
Requirements:
• Senior-level SAP BTP experience (4+ years) with architectural responsibilities
• Strong expertise in ISA-M methodology
• Deep knowledge of connecting BTP to S/4HANA and external/non-SAP systems
• Background in B2B trading, Integration Advisor / IA-M
• Functional understanding across SAP Finance, Sales, or Supply Chain
• Experience with manufacturing or supply chain-driven industries preferred
• Familiarity with UAT processes, testing frameworks, and CI/CD concepts
• Strong communication skills; English required, German or Spanish beneficial

• Start Date: January (ideal to onboard before year-end)
• Contract: Time & Material, 3-month initial contract with extensions
• Location: Hamburg, can work fully remote with travel once per year
• Language: English (German/Spanish useful)
