AWS Principal Solutions Architect

This company solves business critical IT challenges for C-Suite executives and industry leaders. They have a large portfolio of managed IT service offerings, world-class facilities, and hold the highest certifications from almost 100 vendors. 

Due to their continued growth and success, they are aggressively hiring for multiple Architect roles, the most critical being an AWS Principal Solutions Architect. They are looking for a seasoned AWS Professional who promotes team collaboration, values a client focused environment, and thrives in a multifaceted role of problem solving, sales, and delivery. 

This role focuses entirely on public cloud architecture and requires an automation-first focus when it comes to client solutions. They are looking for a forward-thinking leader who can reduce operational costs and optimize environments using the latest public cloud service offerings. 

Day to Day:
- Work with client leaders, and leading sales teams, solutions architects, and engineers throughout the solutioning and delivery process.
- Solution, design, and optimize customer workloads to migrate from on-prem to AWS & deploy new customer applications in AWS. 
- Heavily involved in end-to-end cloud migrations. 
- Design and implement scalability and performance plans for AWS managed service environments. 
- Working with multiple customers simultaneously in sales, consulting, and architecting matters.

Job Qualifications:
- Experienced AWS Professional and familiarity with AWS Migration Acceleration Program.
- 3+ years of delivering rehost, replatform and refactor migrations to AWS.
- History of leading teams in the delivery of cloud transformation projects.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform or CloudFormation.
