About the Role

You will join a growing, international cybersecurity team focused on delivering Microsoft-centric security consulting, assessments, and managed services to enterprise customers across Germany and Europe.

This role combines customer advisory workshops (strategy & assessments) with hands-on technical implementation, helping organisations strengthen their security posture across identity, endpoint, SIEM, and compliance.

You will act as a trusted advisor to customers while working closely with Security Operations, Architecture, and Engineering teams to design and deploy modern Microsoft security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Advisory & Workshops (approx. 70%)

• Lead and deliver Microsoft security workshops and assessments (Defender, Sentinel, Purview)

• Conduct security posture reviews across identity, endpoints, cloud, and data protection

• Provide actionable remediation plans and improvement roadmaps

• Present findings and recommendations to technical teams and senior stakeholders

• Support pre-sales activities, scoping security services and solution designs

Technical Implementation & Enablement

• Design, configure, and deploy Microsoft security technologies

• Support customer onboarding to managed security services

• Build and tune SIEM use cases and detections in Microsoft Sentinel

• Implement Defender XDR capabilities across endpoint and cloud workloads

• Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams to ensure operational readiness

Internal Enablement & Knowledge Sharing

• Develop reusable methodologies, templates, and best practices

• Maintain Microsoft certifications and contribute to partner competency requirements

• Support internal training and technical enablement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Security technologies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Defender (Endpoint / XDR)

  • Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR, KQL)

  • Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, DLP, Compliance)

• Experience running workshops, assessments, or customer-facing engagements

• Solid understanding of cloud security and Zero Trust architectures

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Fluent German and English

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications (SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500 or similar)

• Experience with Microsoft-funded assessments or enterprise security programs

• Managed services or MSSP background

• Consulting or customer advisory experience
