SAP MDM Consultant

We are looking to strengthen our IT team at our location in northern Germany as soon as possible.

As an established company in the organic sector, we employ over 250 people at our site. Founded more than 50 years ago, we have grown into a medium-sized organization operating one of the most modern production facilities in Europe, with continued expansion underway.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure and continuously improve data quality across the organization
• Review and maintain master data along the entire value chain, supporting colleagues to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
• Develop and implement standards and guidelines for master data maintenance
• Act as an interface between departments and systems, ensuring consistent and reliable data usage
• Support the optimization of IT-supported processes in SAP, with a focus on master data
• Monitor data flows and ensure all data changes are properly documented and traceable
• Develop a long-term strategy for data and master data management, considering IT security, legal requirements, and organizational roles and responsibilities

Your Profile

• Completed degree in a technical or commercial field
• Several years of professional experience in master data management, ideally in a medium-sized company environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP and a solid understanding of digitalization and process optimization
• Good understanding of ERP and database systems
• Structured, analytical mindset with high initiative, commitment, and attention to detail
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
• Confident, assertive, and able to explain complex topics clearly
