Location: Madrid, Spain — Hybrid (2–3 days on-site per week)

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with proven AWS expertise to join our team in Madrid. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting a major financial-sector client as they modernize and migrate their technology landscape to AWS. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cloud-native transformation initiatives within a regulated and security-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, test, and deployment processes.

Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS or similar) to streamline application delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams — development, architecture, security, and operations — to ensure smooth delivery of cloud migration milestones.

Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.

Monitor and optimize cloud resources, implementing best practices for cost management, observability, and operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with financial-industry security and governance standards throughout the migration process.
Required Skills & Qualifications

AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, or equivalent).

Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines).

Hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).

Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.

Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to work collaboratively in hybrid on-site teams.
Nice to Have (Optional)

Experience in financial services, regulated environments, or large enterprise migrations.
