Asset & Contract Service Owner (ServiceNow)

Service Owner IT Asset & Contract Management 

Northern Germany | Hybrid Working | Up to €100,000

A leading German enterprise is investing heavily in the further development of its ServiceNow platform and is looking to hire a Service Owner to take responsibility for Software and Hardware Asset Management processes.

This is a newly created position where you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, operational asset management teams and an external ServiceNow partner. The focus is on process ownership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement—not hands-on development.

Your Responsibilities

• Own and further develop Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes
• Drive adoption of ServiceNow best practices and standard functionality
• Translate business requirements into platform enhancements
• Coordinate and steer external ServiceNow partners
• Work closely with procurement, licensing and operational IT teams
• Support the optimisation of software licensing, hardware lifecycle and contract-related processes
• Ensure asset management processes are scalable, efficient and aligned with business needs

Your Background

• Experience working with ServiceNow SAM and/or HAM
• Understanding of IT Asset Management and lifecycle processes
• Experience working with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Strong process-oriented mindset
• Fluent German and good English skills

Nice to Have

• Contract Management experience
• ServiceNow ITOM
• CMDB knowledge
• ITIL certification
• Experience as a Service Owner, Product Owner or Process Owner
