Inhouse Senior SAP Basis Administrator (m/w/d)

Location: Koblenz, Germany (60% Home Office)

Our client is a leading international technology and industrial company based in Koblenz. They are a multi-billion-euro organisation, with over 100 years of history, operating in more than 50 countries worldwide.

As part of their global SAP transformation, they are investing in SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP and SAP BTP. They are now looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrator to play a key role in this transformation, taking ownership of their SAP landscape and driving the technical evolution of their global SAP environment.

Tasks

• Administer, maintain and optimise complex SAP system landscapes.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation and RISE with SAP initiatives.
• Plan and execute SAP installations, upgrades, migrations and system updates.
• Drive SAP Basis and infrastructure projects from planning through to implementation.
• Manage SAP system security, patching, performance and availability.
• Develop backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
• Administer and develop SAP BTP environments, including roles, authorisations and cloud service integrations.
• Work closely with internal IT teams and external partners across international projects.

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent experience.
• Several years of SAP Basis Administration experience in complex SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP installations, upgrades, migrations and system administration.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ideally RISE with SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and cloud integrations.
• Good understanding of SAP security, authorisations, backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience managing technical projects and working with international stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Very good German and English language skills.
