Senior Devops Engineer ( Linux, Ansible, GitHub, Grafana, Terraform)

Energize Cloud is supporting an international technology organisation in hiring a Senior Linux & DevOps Engineer for its internal IT team in Bremen.

This role offers a combination of hands-on engineering, infrastructure improvement and technical ownership. You will help operate and modernise a complex environment while contributing to projects and shaping how IT services are delivered.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain and develop reliable Linux infrastructure.

• Automate administration and deployment activities.

• Integrate infrastructure components with security and service requirements in mind.

• Contribute to system architecture, documentation and technical standards.

• Take ownership of IT services and coordinate improvements with colleagues and external partners.

• Lead technical project activities and participate in on-call support.

Your background

You bring substantial server administration experience, strong Linux skills and confidence working with automation and container technologies. Relevant experience includes RHEL, Rocky Linux or Ubuntu, alongside tools such as Ansible, Docker, Podman or Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, Terraform and scripting will support your success. Experience with hardening, monitoring, VMware or web server technologies would be valuable.

You communicate confidently in German and English, work independently and enjoy taking responsibility. An IT qualification or comparable experience, ITIL knowledge and project delivery experience round out your profile. Willingness to travel and attend onsite assignments is required.
