My client are a German production business with 5,000+ staff and an established IT/SAP function, looking to hire a senior leader to take ownership of their SAP landscape and drive the S/4HANA program through to rollout in 2028.

What they are looking for:

• Proven experience as a SAP leader (middle-management level) combining people leadership + project/program management
• Strong delivery track record across implementations / rollouts / transformations (S/4HANA exposure strongly preferred)
• Ability to take ownership of the S/4HANA implementation + rollout planned for 2028
• Confident managing external consultancies / partners and driving delivery “hands-on”
• Strong stakeholder management: meetings with departments, pragmatic communication style
• Comfortable leading a team of approx. 10 employees (including providing leadership to additional colleagues/resources as required)
• Fluent German and English
• Must be able to commute to site (ideally within ~1 hour)
