As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will serve as a strategic advisor, bridging complex multi-cloud technologies with evolving customer business needs. Working closely with the sales organization, you will lead discovery engagements, develop outcome-driven solution strategies, and design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures — prioritizing measurable business value over individual technologies.

You will maintain deep expertise in hosted/private cloud solutions while providing high-level architectural guidance across public cloud platforms. You will also coordinate closely with public cloud specialists to ensure seamless engagement for advanced discovery and solution design when requirements call for public cloud–centric architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Client Discovery & Consulting

• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover business objectives, pain points, and decision drivers

• Translate requirements into tailored, outcome-focused cloud and infrastructure solutions

• Facilitate workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and stakeholder interviews

• Balance architectural depth with business-level discussions based on customer personas

Solution Architecture & Design

• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments aligned to performance, availability, security, and compliance needs

• Scope, design, and present hosted/private cloud solutions at a deep technical level

• Represent public cloud offerings at a high level; engage public cloud specialists for advanced scoping and design

• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated hybrid and multi-cloud architectures aligned with customer outcomes

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as the technical lead throughout the sales lifecycle, from discovery through solution handoff

• Partner with sales, product, and specialist teams to align technical solutions with account strategy

• Support RFP responses, solution reviews, and scope definition activities

Security & Compliance

• Design secure architectures incorporating MDR, SOC-as-a-Service, IAM, SIEM/SOAR, and vulnerability management

• Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, ISO, NIST)

Networking & Connectivity

• Design secure, high-performance networks across on-prem and cloud environments, including SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, and firewall technologies

Technology Evangelism

• Stay current on emerging technologies including cloud, AI/ML, automation, and cybersecurity

• Translate innovation into clear business value for customers and internal teams

• Communicate current and future-state capabilities to support long-term customer outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or

• Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or

• PhD with 1+ year of experience, or

• 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree

• Professional-level public cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

• Demonstrated experience supporting sales-led engagements

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Preferred

• Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Deep experience with private cloud and traditional IT environments (virtualization, storage, networking)

• High-level knowledge of public cloud platforms and their business use cases

• Experience designing secure, compliant architectures and managed security solutions

• Strong understanding of hybrid networking, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, and firewall technologies

• Experience with storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery architectures

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation practices
