Senior Network Engineer (LNA, WLAN, Cisco)

Energize Cloud is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team delivering enterprise networking projects across large customer environments.

This is a highly technical role focused on designing, implementing and optimising complex network infrastructures rather than day-to-day support.

You\'ll work across modern LAN, WAN and WLAN environments while contributing to datacenter networking, security, automation and infrastructure transformation projects.

Based in Rüsselsheim am Main, our client is an established German IT services provider delivering enterprise infrastructure, cloud and digital transformation solutions to some of Germany\'s largest organisations.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Design and implement enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN solutions
• Deliver networking projects including migrations and infrastructure refreshes
• Build scalable, resilient and highly available network architectures
• Configure Routing & Switching technologies
• Manage Firewall and VPN solutions
• Provide 3rd level technical support for complex networking issues
• Implement security and segmentation concepts
• Optimise network performance and availability
• Produce technical documentation and network designs
• Support network automation and continuous improvement initiatives

What We\'re Looking For

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience
• Strong Routing & Switching knowledge
• Experience with LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies
• Enterprise firewall experience
• VPN and network security expertise
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, Check Point or Meraki
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects
• Network automation or scripting experience is advantageous
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCNA, CWNP or similar) are beneficial
