SAP Authorizations Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Germany | Remote: 100% | Salary: €80,000 including bonus

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Authorizations Consultant to join a growing SAP consultancy supporting a range of exciting client projects across Germany.

You will work on SAP security and authorizations initiatives, particularly within SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, helping customers design, implement and optimise their authorization concepts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant who enjoys working directly with customers, contributing to diverse projects and developing their expertise within a specialist SAP consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain SAP roles, authorizations and access concepts.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects.
• Utilise XAMS to support SAP authorization and security activities.
• Analyse authorization requirements and resolve access-related issues.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to deliver tailored SAP solutions.
• Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, testing and project delivery.
• Contribute to innovative SAP security initiatives, including potential AI-related projects.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in SAP Authorizations and SAP project delivery.
• Hands-on experience with XAMS is highly desirable.
• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA projects or transformation programmes.
• Previous experience within an SAP consultancy or customer-facing consulting environment.
• Strong German language skills (B2/C1 or above).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to work independently in client environments.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with SAP Joule, AI initiatives or AI applications relating to SAP authorizations.
• Broader SAP security experience.
• Exposure to RISE with SAP.
