Energize are looking for an experienced Principal Event-Driven Architecture Consultant to support a large international organisation in developing and scaling its enterprise-wide event-driven architecture (EDA).
The consultant will work alongside the existing platform owner, focusing on enterprise architecture, governance, adoption and operating models. The role involves guiding technical and business teams towards event-driven integration solutions, with a strong focus on SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

The consultant will work alongside the existing platform owner, focusing on enterprise architecture, governance, adoption and operating models. The role involves guiding technical and business teams towards event-driven integration solutions, with a strong focus on SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in enterprise integration architecture and event-driven architecture (EDA)
- Proven experience establishing, governing or scaling event-driven platforms within large enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP Advanced Event Mesh, Solace PubSub+ or comparable event broker technologies
- Experience with ASAPIO Integration Add-on or similar SAP event-enablement technologies
- Strong SAP ECC / S/4HANA integration experience, including SAP-centric event flows
- Experience defining enterprise EDA strategies, adoption roadmaps and architecture standards
- Strong understanding of publish/subscribe, asynchronous messaging, event streaming and event lifecycle management
- Experience establishing governance models covering event ownership, schemas, topics, security, versioning and change management
- Knowledge of SAP event sources, including RAP Events, Business Object Repository Events, Business Transaction Events, IDocs and Change Documents
- Ability to review technical solution designs and provide architecture guidance on event payloads, reliability, monitoring and error handling
- Experience developing reference architectures, reusable design patterns and integration standards
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, working with enterprise architects, platform owners, developers and business teams
- Experience leading workshops, advising technical teams and supporting enterprise-wide adoption of event-driven architecture
- SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration and API Management experience beneficial
