We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen a leading digitalization and engineering division. You will play a key role in ensuring product security, supporting development teams, and driving forward innovative solutions in cybersecurity.

Your Tasks

• Establish security in product development by providing solution architectures, methods, and tools.

• Advise and train development teams on security practices.

• Support teams in implementing security guidelines and integrating requirements into software architectures.

• Take responsibility for the technical security of products, working closely with development departments.

• Implement security concepts for various cyber security issues.

• Monitor the cyber security threat landscape and apply insights to products.

• Support regular testing, reviews, and certifications of products, tools, and processes.

Your Profile

• Degree with a technical focus or comparable vocational training.

• Relevant professional experience in cyber security and/or software development.

• Experience in one or more scripting or programming languages.

• Ideally, knowledge of public key infrastructures and encryption technologies.

• Familiarity with standards such as NIST Cyber Security Framework and IEC 62443.

• Hands-on mentality: able to define specifications and analyze security problems across OT, IT, and cloud.

• Strong team player with responsibility, communication skills, and problem-solving mindset.

• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
