Job Title: Application Architect & Application Engineers (IaC – AWS to Azure Migration)
Start Date: Multi-cloud project expected to start within the next few weeks.
Duration: 14 weeks (approx.) 35 hours

Agreed Budget:
- Architect: $130-150/hr
- Software Engineer x4: $110-130
Scope of Services & Deliverables:
- Phase 3 of the project
- Support migration of applications from AWS to Azure.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for cloud resources.
- Architect role: higher-level strategy, review best practices, collaborate with FTE lead. Deep technical ownership, strategic alignment, oversight of IaC work, best practices
- Engineer role: handle request tickets, work in code, bug fixes, and merge requests.
- Collaborate with solution lead, delivery manager, and DevOps team.
- Architect (5–10 yrs exp): deeper technical ownership, strategic alignment, oversight of IaC work, best practices.
- Application Engineers (3+ yrs exp): modular, reusable IaC template development, operational support, bug fixing.
- Technical requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (critical for architect; used by engineers).
- The role needs for the the arch and dev I confirmed are much more rooted in Azure and C# proficiency as primiary skills. Then working with devops tickets, branching, merging, etc.
- Azure: Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, Container Instances, Application Gateway, etc.
- AWS: S3, Lambda, ECS, ECR, IAM.
- DevOps background, CI/CD pipelines, Git, version control.
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
- Cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with ARM templates/Bicep a plus.
