New Contract Opportunity: Senior SAP CO Consultant with expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud

Project Phase: Explore Phase of S/4HANA Public Cloud
Location: near Lucerne, Switzerland
Onsite requirement: 1 day per week (travel expenses paid by the customer)
Engagement: Part-Time 2.5 days per week
Duration: Initial 7-month contract with potential extensions

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP CO Consultant with expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud to join a dynamic project located near Lucerne, Switzerland. This part-time position will involve contributing to the successful completion of the Explore phase and transition into the Realisation phase for a go-live planned for summer 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Finalising the Explore Phase:

• Collaborate with the project team to complete the Explore phase for the S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
• Conduct discussions on public cloud processes, reviewing the customer’s current requirements, and identifying any needed changes.
• Ensure alignment between SAP CO processes and the client’s business needs within the Public Cloud framework.

Realisation Phase Preparation:

• Work closely with the project team to transition from the Explore phase into the Realisation phase.
• Budget Review: Assess the budget and determine if it is sufficient to cover the scope of the Realisation phase.

Consulting and Customising:

• Provide expert customisation and configuration of SAP CO in line with the customer’s needs.
• Advise on best practices for the S/4HANA Public Cloud environment, ensuring effective implementation of CO processes.

Workshops and Key User Training:

• Conduct and participate in workshops to discuss system functionalities and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Train key users on SAP CO processes and public cloud functionalities, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and system adoption.

Go-Live and Hypercare Support:

• Provide comprehensive support during the go-live phase and through the hypercare period, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.

Experience

• Senior-level experience in SAP CO (Controlling), with a deep understanding of controlling processes and their integration with other modules.
• Proven expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud, including knowledge of cloud-specific processes, functionalities, and limitations.
• Ability to explain the functionalities and processes of S/4HANA Public Cloud clearly to stakeholders.
• Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation project
• Fluent German language is mandatory.
