We are hiring a robotics software engineer to help ship key features for the platform, working across motion control, perception and hardware integration.
What You\'ll Do
- Build software for an autonomous robotic package handling system, working closely with electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Own the full stack, from motion control and perception pipelines to hardware interfaces for robotic manipulation.
- Write safety critical software with fault detection and fail safe behavior built in.
- Bring up and validate software on physical hardware, including diagnosing issues across the software and hardware boundary.
- Drive improvements to tooling and CI/CD to accelerate team velocity.
What You\'ll Bring
- Strong Python and C++.
- Hands on ROS2 experience.
- Demonstrated experience shipping production software on a deployed robot system.
- Comfort working fast, wearing multiple hats, in an early stage environment.
Nice to Have
- Vacuum or manipulation based grasping experience.
- Motion planning and low level motor control on BLDC or stepper hardware.
- CAN bus, Docker and embedded Linux experience.
