As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Physical AI Engineer to help bridge advanced robotics research with real-world industrial applications. This is a customer-facing technical role working alongside engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver cutting-edge robotics solutions.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of robotics software, AI, controls, and industrial automation.
You\'ll become the technical authority for Physical AI, robot simulation, digital twins, and virtual commissioning technologies, helping customers deploy complex robotic systems while influencing future product direction.
This position combines hands-on engineering, customer engagement, proof-of-concept development, and technical leadership.
What You\'ll Be Doing
- Become the technical expert for Physical AI, robot simulation, virtual commissioning, and digital twin technologies.
- Support customers, systems integrators, and internal engineering teams with advanced robotics applications.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and feasibility studies.
- Develop and validate new robotics applications using emerging AI technologies.
- Investigate software and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive technical solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve robotics software platforms.
- Help customers integrate advanced robotic systems into manufacturing environments.
- Work alongside commercial teams to support strategic customer engagements.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the wider team.
What We\'re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor\'s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience developing or integrating robotic automation systems.
- Strong programming experience with:
- Python
- C++
- CMake
- Experience with:
- ROS2
- Linux
- Docker
- Computer networking
- Knowledge of:
- Motion planning
- Robot control
- Trajectory optimization
- Classical and modern control theory
- Experience using robotics simulation environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and customer-facing teams.
Preferred
- Master\'s or PhD in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years working with robotic manipulation systems.
- Experience with:
