SAP Project Manager – SAP ERP Transformation

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 4 days/week onsite preferred)
Start Date: Early August (targeting August 3rd)
Employment Type: 6 months with opportunity for extension or contract to hire

Overview

Our client, a global industrial technology organization, is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to support a large-scale enterprise SAP ERP Transformation Program.

This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role on a complex global SAP transformation valued at over $100M, partnering with senior leadership to drive delivery across multiple workstreams spanning Europe and the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities across a complex enterprise SAP ERP transformation.
• Drive project governance, planning, reporting, and executive stakeholder communications.
• Manage project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of 20+ resources across multiple geographic regions.
• Facilitate project toll gates and ensure adherence to SAP implementation and delivery best practices.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to maintain project momentum and successful delivery.
• Prepare and present status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
• Support a fast-paced transformation environment while ensuring alignment across internal teams and implementation partners.

Required Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale SAP ERP transformation or SAP implementation programs.
• Strong SAP Project Management background with experience delivering enterprise SAP initiatives.
• Experience managing SAP project governance, delivery methodologies, and project toll gates.
• Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading global project teams across multiple regions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, risks, and dependencies simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience working alongside global systems integrators and implementation partners.
• Manufacturing, industrial, utilities, or asset-intensive industry experience is advantageous.
