SAP MM / Procurement Consultant
About the Role
Join an international organisation undergoing continuous digital transformation, where you will play a key role in the development and optimisation of SAP procurement and materials management processes. Working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams, you will help deliver modern and efficient solutions across the wider supply chain landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Advise on, design and implement SAP solutions within Materials Management and Inventory Management (SAP MM/MM-IM).

Take responsibility for SAP and IT projects across the procurement and materials management landscape.

Support and further develop existing SAP solutions, including hands-on customising.

Support procurement and supply chain solutions, including SAP Ariba and related supplier network technologies.

Create functional specifications and IT concepts, coordinating solution architecture, development and system interfaces.

Advise business stakeholders on the design, implementation and optimisation of business processes and IT solutions.

Lead workshops and deliver training to internal users and stakeholders.

Coordinate and support testing activities throughout projects and system changes.

Analyse and resolve complex issues as part of 2nd and 3rd level SAP support.

Coordinate external service providers and implementation partners.
Your Profile

Degree in Business, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.

Several years of professional experience in SAP MM, ideally 5+ years.

Strong understanding of materials management and procurement processes, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience designing and implementing cross-system IT and SAP solutions.

Knowledge of additional SAP logistics modules would be advantageous.

ABAP knowledge, particularly debugging, would be beneficial.

Interest in modern SAP technologies and digital solutions.

Independent and proactive approach to work, combined with strong analytical and organisational skills.

Strong communication, stakeholder management and teamwork skills.

Fluent German and English language skills.
