SAP Full Stack Developer - BTP/CAP

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated backend applications using Node.js within the SAP CAP framework
• Build intuitive and responsive frontend interfaces utilizing SAPUI5/Fiori to enhance user experience
• Integrate applications seamlessly into SAP S/4HANA environment, developing robust OData interfaces for data exchange
• Connect systems to Kafka-based event streaming platforms, supporting our system modernization initiatives
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive code reviews and the implementation of unit and integration tests
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Work within an agile environment, employing GitFlow and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for efficient deployment

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in developing and configuring applications on SAP BTP, particularly with SAP CAP and Node.js
• Proficiency with Git, ideally GitLab, and familiarity with GitFlow processes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Jest for JavaScript applications
• Solid understanding of SAPUI5/Fiori frontend development
• Ability to create and manage OData services for data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Fluency in German (spoken and written) to facilitate effective communication within teams and with stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills

• Basic ABAP knowledge to support integration and extension tasks
• Experience working with event streaming platforms like Kafka
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and SAFe frameworks

Preferred Education and Experience

• Completed higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in SAP development, particularly on SAP BTP and CAP platforms
• Proven track record of delivering full-stack SAP solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
