SAP FICO Consultant

About us

A leading company in the retail industry is looking for a Senior SAP FICO Expert to strengthen its internal SAP service and operations team in Dortmund. This inhouse role focuses on managing SAP FI/CO operations and driving improvements in finance and controlling processes.

Tasks

• Act as the go-to expert for SAP FI/CO in a service-driven, inhouse environment

• Coordinate external partners and ensure smooth service delivery

• Analyze business requirements and implement scalable FI/CO solutions

• Manage authorizations, users, system documentation, and process governance

• Support rollouts, testing, release evaluations, and process compliance

• Interface between Finance, Controlling, and IT teams

• Monitor technical stability and performance of SAP FI/CO modules

Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience with SAP FI & CO

• Solid understanding of finance processes (HGB, IFRS, tax)

• Experience with SAP authorization and role management

• Analytical, structured, and team-oriented working style

• Fluent in German (written and spoken)

• Experience in the retail or consumer goods sector is a plus
