Energize is currently looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP EWM External Consultant to support our customer with enhancements, issue resolution, and performance improvements within their embedded EWM environment in S/4HANA. This role focuses on managing a substantial backlog of change requests, implementing technical and functional optimizations, and supporting key warehouse operations.
You will collaborate closely with both business stakeholders and the ABAP development team to deliver scalable, well-documented, and fully tested solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
• Create Functional Specifications for the EWM Change Request backlog
• Work with the ABAP development team to design optimal technical solutions
• Test, validate, and implement changes, including full documentation of test evidence
• Implement APIs for express carrier labelling
• Resolve outstanding warehouse issues in the backlog
• Drive improvements to system performance in inbound and outbound processes
Requirements:
• Strong business process expertise in SAP embedded EWM (S/4HANA)
• Technical understanding at a functional level: BADIs, PPF, debugging, RF framework
• Solid knowledge of linked modules: API Integration, SD, MM
• Experience with Batch Management and Serial Number Management
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive solutions end-to-end
Nice to Have:
• Experience in Medical Devices, Pharma, or regulated environments (CSV)
• Familiarity with major shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
• Experience in hybrid automated/manual warehouse environments
• Dutch language skills

• Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract, extensions likely
• Location: Leuven, 60%/3 days on-site per week (Hybrid)
• Language: English (Dutch is a plus)
