About the Role

An established and successful organisation in Germany is looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join its Data Analytics team and help drive the development of a more data-driven organisation.

In this role, you will support business departments and locations with high-quality reporting and data analysis, helping stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions. You will also play an important role in standardising the organisation\'s reporting landscape and expanding the use of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop targeted reports, dashboards and data analyses to support business decision-making.
• Create reports, interfaces and dashboards that contribute to data-driven process improvement across the organisation.
• Support the standardisation of the reporting landscape and the transition from decentralised reporting solutions to SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Further develop the organisation\'s data warehouse structure in collaboration with external consulting partners.
• Administratively manage and maintain the data warehouse environment.
• Optimise and administer data flows between complex ERP data sources and reporting dashboards.
• Support the day-to-day operation and availability of data flows and analytics solutions.
• Manage data analytics projects from initial business requirements through:
  • Requirements gathering and consulting
  • Prototype development
  • Implementation
  • Testing and deployment
  • Go-live
• Work closely with business and project stakeholders to deliver practical analytics solutions.
• Contribute to building and embedding a stronger data-driven culture across the organisation.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a comparable qualification.

Professional Experience

• Initial to several years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar data analytics role.
• Good knowledge of data visualisation, ideally with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or a comparable BI platform.
• Experience with:
  • Data modelling
  • Data integration
  • Data preparation
  • Data visualisation
  • Reporting and dashboard development
• Knowledge of ERP databases and data structures is desirable.
• Experience in IT project management and/or experience as a key user would be advantageous.
