SAP Authorizations Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration and maintenance of SAP user authorizations, ensuring all roles and privileges align with company security policies and industry best practices.
• Analyze SAP modules to identify opportunities for security enhancements and implement effective authorization optimizations.
• Provide expert support for authorization-related issues, delivering prompt resolutions to uphold high customer satisfaction.
• Lead and participate in SAP security projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and implementation of security enhancements.
• Conduct thorough authorization reviews and audits to verify compliance and proactively address security risks.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to ensure seamless security governance and alignment with organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related IT field, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
• Several years of hands-on experience managing SAP authorization security and governance.
• Proven expertise with SAP GRC or similar GRC systems, with a solid understanding of SAP security architecture and authorization management principles.
• Strong analytical abilities to detect security gaps and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently or within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills in German at C1 level, with the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
