Senior Data Steward/Business Analyst

Role description:
Main focus: metadata documentation and data products modelling. To help the Data Owners to have their metadata retrieved from the data source(s) and have it ingested to the data catalog (Collibra). Helping out with modelling data in Collibra, setting up responsibilities, building data products and making those shoppable for the specific use case. 
•    Collibra Data Steward with proven experience (desirable) OR
•    Either quick learning of Collibra functionality
•    Ability to map data assets between data source metadata and Collibra data asset types
•    Interviewing Data Owners and taking part in Data Owner’s onboarding
Client-facing position: directly working with the data owners to understand their needs and requirements, architects, developers and/or support teams of the sourcing systems, networking teams to get all the needed permissions etc., and other teams in the Data Shopping ART SAFe framework.
Must-have skills:

• Very good communication skills (client-facing position)
• Must: Data modelling skills, understanding of Data Architecture and Metadata management. 
• Quick learner
• Excellent English

Nice-to have skills:

• Highly desirable: Collibra knowledge at least at the Data Steward certificate level, ideally with a good understanding of Collibra Operating Model and practical experience in the Data Steward position.
• Desirable: understanding of Data Architecture and integration and interoperability. Understanding of Data Mesh concept. Experience within SAFe or Scrum framework
• Very good German, ideally native

Language:

• Very good English (above average)
• German is highly desirable, full working proficiency

Location:

• Onsite / remote in Germany
• Some travelling will be required
