Summary of Role
This ERP Security Architect role will report to the Cyber Security Office\'s Security Architecture Lead, but their day-to-day responsibilities will involve working with the ERP Security Coordination Lead and a dedicated team of security analysts to support the ERP program in its multi-year migration journey to S4HANA, including satellite projects. As one of two security Architects, they will represent the Cyber Security Office within the program, focusing on reviewing the design, implementation, and alignment of security architecture while supporting program objectives

As one of two security Architects, they will represent the Cyber Security Office within the program, focusing on reviewing the design, implementation, and alignment of security architecture while supporting program objectives
Key responsibilities
- Represent Security Architecture to ensure Security is embedded across all areas of the ERP migration program and its related satellite projects.
- Review ERP security considerations including access management, data protection, system integration security, vulnerability management, compliance and governance, monitoring and incident response, change management, and third-party risk management.
- Coordinate any required security testing, including penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, to validate the security posture of the ERP system throughout the migration.
- Coordinate project resources and activities to ensure successful project execution and alignment with program goals.
- Work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet project requirements, CLIENT security standards, and align to ERP Security best practices.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to the Cyber Security Office, SAP Program Lead, project stakeholders, and program governance teams.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the Initiative Lead and project team members and use the PMO team to seek support and guidance as required.
- Continuously assess security risks associated with the ERP migration and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security architecture decisions, configurations, and changes. Provide regular reports to senior management on security status and risk levels.
- Strong expertise in ERP Security
- Experience developing security strategies and/or reference architectures.
- Hands-on experience in medium scale digital transformation projects at global corporations (S/4HANA preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of security technology including, but not limited to, encryption, authentication and authorization, security protocols, data and privacy security, AI/ML and application development
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management
- Ability to write, develop, and maintain technical documentation, including security standards, security strategies, and implementation plans.
- Ability to prioritise input and filter actions that have significant impact on the program
- Advanced degree in Computer Science
- 6+ years of cyber security experience
- Any of the following: CISM, CISSP, SABSA
- Experience in global manufacturing, pharma, and/or a life sciences company
