Senior AI Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales)

Travel: Approximately 25–35% to customer sites, partner offices, and industry conferences.

Overview

An award-winning cloud consulting and managed services provider is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Architect to join its growing pre-sales team. The organization is a leading partner across the major hyperscalers, delivering advisory, implementation, and managed services across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

This role combines deep AI expertise with customer-facing solution architecture. You\'ll work alongside enterprise clients to identify AI opportunities, shape technical strategy, architect custom AI solutions, and partner closely with delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a highly consultative position requiring a blend of technical depth, commercial awareness, and executive-level communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle for AI and cloud transformation opportunities.

• Lead discovery workshops to understand customer business challenges and technical requirements.

• Facilitate GenAI, conversational AI, machine learning, and data strategy workshops.

• Design AI solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud services.

• Produce solution designs, high-level architectures, Statements of Work (SOWs), and cost estimates.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project handover and execution.

• Develop technical collateral, reference architectures, presentations, and customer proposals.

• Deliver enablement sessions for sales and go-to-market teams.

• Partner with product and engineering teams to influence future service offerings.

• Represent the organization through industry events, customer presentations, blogs, whitepapers, and thought leadership.

Required Experience

• Strong background in Pre-Sales Solution Architecture within a cloud consulting, managed services, or professional services environment.

• Professional or Expert-level certification in one or more major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Software development or software engineering experience (Python preferred).

• Experience designing AI and machine learning solutions using cloud-native AI services.

• Understanding of:

  • Generative AI

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)

  • Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Vector databases

  • Conversational AI

• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure, migrations, and deployments.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, container platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).

• Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, and operating system fundamentals.

Preferred Experience

• AI-focused certifications.

• Experience across multiple public cloud platforms.

• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
