As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Project / Program Manager to lead large-scale strategic initiatives across cloud infrastructure, engineering, operations, and professional services teams.

Overview

The Senior Lead Project / Program Manager will be responsible for delivering complex enterprise programs spanning multiple technical teams, business units, and executive stakeholders. This is a highly visible leadership position focused on driving strategic initiatives, improving delivery governance, managing risk, and ensuring successful execution across a portfolio of projects.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams while helping shape project delivery frameworks, operational processes, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale enterprise projects and strategic programs involving multiple technical teams and business functions.
• Manage the full project and program lifecycle, including planning, estimation, governance, execution, change management, deployment, and post-project reviews.
• Partner with senior leaders across Professional Services, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and other business functions to deliver complex technical initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and proactively manage dependencies, risks, resource constraints, and competing priorities.
• Provide executive-level reporting, governance updates, business cases, ROI assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance structures and delivery standards.
• Develop and improve program management methodologies, frameworks, playbooks, and best practices.
• Oversee portfolios of related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency across engineering and delivery functions.
• Facilitate decision-making by understanding technical delivery challenges, implementation risks, and organizational impacts.
• Manage project scope and change control processes while ensuring delivery quality and predictability.
• Define and track program success metrics, including delivery performance, customer satisfaction, resource utilization, financial outcomes, and operational excellence.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers and cross-functional teams to enhance project management maturity across the organization.

Required Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading complex enterprise projects, strategic programs, technical product initiatives, or consulting engagements.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale technology or infrastructure programs involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and business functions.
• Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, governance, portfolio management, risk management, and dependency management.
• Experience managing cloud, infrastructure, software delivery, networking, security, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to understand technical architecture, modernization strategies, implementation risks, and delivery dependencies without acting as the technical design authority.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and executives through data-driven decision-making and strategic communication.
• Experience creating and implementing project governance models, delivery frameworks, operational processes, and best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in highly matrixed environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
• Strong business acumen with experience evaluating ROI, prioritizing investments, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and organizational change.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications.
• Experience within cloud services, managed services, professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environments.
• Background leading large-scale cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation programs.
• Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivery maturity.
