The Role

Seeking a Robotics Software Developer to build and scale the core software systems that power a fleet of autonomous robots in the field.

This role sits at the center of the ecosystem, spanning on-robot software, cloud connectivity, and mission control systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring reliable communication, performance, and scalability across deployed robotic platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop software infrastructure for device management, mission control, and fleet coordination
• Build systems to plan, execute, and monitor autonomous missions
• Develop interfaces and protocols for configuring and managing robotic devices
• Integrate cloud services for data storage, monitoring, and analytics
• Enable reliable, low-latency communication between robots and cloud systems
• Optimize systems for real-time performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across robotics, product, and field operations
• Contribute to system architecture, APIs, and technical documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in robotics software development
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python
• Experience with robotic systems (ROS or ROS 2)
• Understanding of real-time systems and multi-threaded programming
• Familiarity with Docker and modern deployment workflows
• Experience with version control and development tools (e.g. Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services)
• Exposure to REST APIs and distributed systems
• Experience deploying robotic systems in real-world environments (construction, industrial, etc.)
