Senior Product Validation Engineer
???? Austin, TX (On-site)
I’m working with a well-funded robotics company building next-generation humanoid systems designed to operate alongside humans in real-world environments. Their platform is already gaining serious traction across industrial and logistics use cases, with a clear roadmap toward broader commercial deployment.
They’re now looking for a Senior Product Validation Engineer to take ownership of validation strategy across a highly complex electro-mechanical robotics platform.
The Role
This is a high-impact position where you’ll own and drive the product validation roadmap for a cutting-edge robotics system. You’ll be responsible for ensuring performance, reliability, and safety as the product moves from development into scaled deployment.
This isn’t just test execution. You’ll be shaping how validation is done across the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Lead the development of verification & validation (V&V) strategies, test plans, and traceability to system requirements
-
Own validation of robot performance, reliability, and safety across development cycles
-
Partner closely with systems, hardware, and design engineering teams to identify issues and drive corrective actions
-
Build and scale test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time
-
Design and implement custom test rigs, fixtures, and methodologies
-
Analyze and communicate complex test data to drive engineering decisions
-
Work with external labs and certification bodies on compliance, safety, and regulatory validation
-
Drive best practices across reliability engineering and root cause analysis
What They’re Looking For
-
Strong experience leading verification & validation for electro-mechanical systems (robotics, automotive, aerospace, or similar)
-
Hands-on background in mechatronics, electronics, or hardware testing
-
Proven track record in design verification, reliability testing, and failure analysis
-
Experience with environmental and stress testing tools (thermal chambers, HALT/HASS, shaker tables, etc.)
-
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and ambiguity
-
Strong communication skills, able to translate technical findings into actionable insights
Background
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
-
~7+ years experience in relevant engineering / validation roles
Why This Role
-
Work on one of the most advanced humanoid robotics platforms in the market
-
High ownership and visibility in a company scaling toward production
-
Real-world impact across industries like manufacturing, logistics, and beyond
-
Competitive compensation, equity, and strong long-term upside
Additional Notes
-
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. due to export control regulations
-
On-site in Austin
