- Greenfield ownership: Define the company\'s enterprise AI architecture and influence its future technology stack.
- Direct business impact: Evaluate AI opportunities across multiple departments and deliver solutions with measurable commercial value.
- Strategic and hands-on: Combine enterprise architecture, technology selection and practical AI implementation.
- Long-term influence: Help establish internal AI capabilities, governance standards and reusable technical foundations.
- Define enterprise-wide AI architecture, technology standards, governance principles and integration approaches.
- Identify and evaluate AI opportunities, design scalable solutions involving generative AI, AI agents and intelligent automation, and oversee their technical implementation.
- Select suitable platforms and technologies, balancing business value, scalability, security and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with management, business departments, internal IT teams and external partners to integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise systems.
- Essential: Senior experience architecting complex software, data or AI solutions, including demonstrable hands-on AI implementation.
- Essential: Strong knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, AI platforms, integration architectures and modern cloud/data technologies.
- Essential: Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable and commercially viable technical solutions.
- Essential: Excellent German and English communication skills; experience with SAP, Microsoft 365 or enterprise manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Salary up to €130,000.
- Remote-first working throughout Germany, with typically two NRW office days per month after onboarding.
- Significant ownership of a new enterprise AI programme and freedom to influence architectural decisions.
- Collaborative working culture, flat hierarchies and direct involvement with IT leadership.
