Position: SAP TM Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d)

Role Overview:

As an SAP TM Inhouse Consultant, you will play a key role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA systems. Your work will involve collaborating with various business units to optimize processes, develop specifications, and ensure the seamless integration of SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Implementation:

  • Engage in both object-oriented and classical ABAP development within SAP S/4HANA, leveraging your analytical skills and consultancy expertise.

• System Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Maintain and optimize the SAP landscape to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Process Improvement:

  • Analyze, document, and enhance processes and applications, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

• Collaborative Specification Development:

  • Work closely with different business departments to develop specifications for system extensions, interfaces, and reports.

• Project Participation:

  • Take an active role in SAP S/4HANA projects, including implementations and rollouts, with opportunities to manage parts of the project.

• Customization & Testing:

  • Execute customizations and perform rigorous functional and integration testing to ensure system efficiency.

• User Support:

  • Provide high-quality first- and second-level support, addressing user issues promptly and effectively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Transport Management Expertise:

  • Strong business acumen in transport management with significant experience in SAP TM, including configuration, implementation, and customization.

• SAP Module Experience:

  • Experience with SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP EWM, SAP Business Network for Logistics, and SAP Global Track and Trace.

• Integration Skills:

  • Proven track record in integrating SAP TM with non-SAP systems, particularly with freight forwarders, using middleware such as SAP CPI.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Skilled in working with web services and APIs (SOAP, REST) to facilitate smooth system integration.

• SAP TM Experience:

  • Extensive experience in SAP Transport Management, with deep knowledge of TM module customization.

• Additional Competencies:

  • Familiarity with automatic invoice verification processing is an added advantage.
