Key Responsibilities

Work as part of a cross-functional team, taking ownership of tasks and contributing within agile frameworks.

Collaborate closely with colleagues from areas such as sales, network operations, shared services, and SAP backend development.

Support business units in optimising processes and developing new services by integrating modern IT solutions with existing SAP infrastructure.

Manage the full development lifecycle of SAP solutions — from technical design, implementation, and maintenance to ongoing enhancement and documentation — across a diverse SAP environment (ECC and S/4HANA), adhering to established standards.

Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the SAP development ecosystem.

Define and implement developer tests and create clear, well-structured documentation of your work.
Your Profile
-
Degree in mathematics, (business) informatics, or a comparable field.

Several years of hands-on experience in SAP development using ABAP and ABAP Objects (ABAP-OO).

Solid expertise in SAP solutions, ideally within SAP IS-U, SAP Finance, or SAP Procurement environments.

Proven experience designing, implementing, and testing complex programs within ERP systems.

Familiarity with planning and developing modern software architectures that integrate with existing SAP landscapes.

Independent, self-motivated working style combined with strong team spirit.

Excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Eagerness to explore and learn new technologies and working methods when required.

Fluent German (spoken and written) and a good command of English.
Desirable additional skills:

Advanced knowledge in areas such as S/4HANA development, Fiori, Core Data Services (CDS), Adobe Forms, or OData services (SAP NetWeaver Gateway).

Practical project experience with ECC to S/4HANA migrations.

Familiarity with the SAP IS-U master data model and process knowledge in areas such as IS-U tariffing and billing.
