SAP Support Specialist
About the Role
An established international organisation operating within the healthcare and life sciences sector is seeking an experienced SAP Support Specialist to join its IT Applications team. This role supports critical business systems and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective SAP operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Investigate, troubleshoot, and document system issues through a ticket management system

Manage SAP user authorisations, roles, and access profiles

Collaborate closely with business process owners, internal departments, and external service providers

Provide first-line support to end users for SAP-related queries and incidents

Support the implementation of minor system changes, enhancements, and testing activities
-
Assist in developing and maintaining effective application support processes
-
Provide guidance to business teams on SAP functionality and best practices
-
Coordinate and support SAP transport management activities
Candidate Profile

Degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience across one or more SAP modules, such as CO, FI, MM, PM, PP, or QM
-
Familiarity with ABAP debugging or development is advantageous

Strong understanding of SAP authorisation concepts, including users, roles, and profiles

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Fluent written and spoken German and English

Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable approach to work
