SAP Service & Asset Management (SAM) Consultant

Overview

Our client, a global industrial technology organization, is seeking an experienced SAP Service & Asset Management (SAM) Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance Service & Asset Management processes while supporting strategic initiatives across SAP, data, analytics, and digital transformation.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong business process knowledge, stakeholder management, and experience supporting SAP-enabled service and asset management environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Service & Asset Management business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
• Support SAP-enabled Service & Asset Management initiatives within a large enterprise transformation program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to improve service operations, asset performance, and business processes.
• Gather and document business requirements, facilitate workshops, and support solution design.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Help drive process improvements, user adoption, and organizational change initiatives.
• Work with business leaders to identify opportunities for reporting, analytics, and process optimization.
• Support governance, issue resolution, risk identification, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience delivering SAP solutions within Service & Asset Management environments.
• Strong understanding of Service & Asset Management business processes in asset-intensive industries.
• Experience working on SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Proven ability to work across both business and technical teams.
• Experience leading workshops, gathering business requirements, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
• SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
• SAP Field Service Management (FSM)
• SAP S/4HANA Service
• Enterprise reporting, analytics, or AI-enabled business initiatives
• Manufacturing, industrial, utilities, energy, or other asset-intensive industries
