Senior SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to support a large-scale ERP transformation for the DoD implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

This is a customer-facing leadership role responsible for driving project execution, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the SAP Activate implementation lifecycle. The project is entering a restart phase following a planned pause, making this an excellent opportunity to help establish governance, align stakeholders, and lead a high-visibility transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities for a SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, system integrators, and functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate project governance, steering committee updates, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Coordinate implementation workshops, testing activities, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
• Drive stakeholder alignment while ensuring project deliverables remain on schedule and within scope.
• Support implementation activities following SAP Activate methodology and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementations as a Project Manager.
• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience preferred
• Strong customer-facing consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams throughout planning, design, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing complex enterprise ERP transformation programs.
• Previous consulting or system integrator experience.
• Experience coordinating distributed project teams and executive stakeholders.

Additional Information

• Initial contract with strong potential for extension.
• Hybrid role requiring approximately 3–4 days per week onsite in Reno, Nevada.
• U.S.-based candidates only.
