SAP Project Manager (FICO) – Freelance Position
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong FICO background to support an ongoing S/4HANA implementation for a client in Belgium.
The project is already in flight, and the consultant will take ownership of the internal project management responsibilities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across planning, testing, migration and project execution.
Key requirements:
· Senior SAP Project Management experience within S/4HANA implementations.
· Strong understanding of SAP FICO, as this is the core module in scope.
· Ability to quickly assess an existing project, identify gaps and challenge the current plan where required.
· Strong stakeholder management and the confidence to chase deliverables and keep teams accountable to agreed timelines.
· Experience managing interfaces / file transfer workstreams, particularly where custom SAP programs and migrations are on the critical path.
· Strong experience across project planning, milestones, testing and defect management.
· SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) experience highly beneficial.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to represent internal business interests within the wider project team.
Contract details:
· Start: ASAP.
· Initial workload: Full-time for the first 2 months.
· Ongoing workload: Approx. 2 days per week thereafter.
· Duration: Expected until at least the end of Hypercare in March 2027.
· Working model: Predominantly remote.
· Onsite: Ideally around 1 day per week in Belgium.
· Language: English sufficient.
