SAP S/4HANA Site Project Lead / Business Receiver Lead
We’re supporting a global manufacturer seeking an experienced SAP project lead to prepare its production site in Oskarshamn, Sweden, for an S/4HANA rollout.
The business is replacing longstanding local systems with a common SAP setup across its global production sites. This role will lead preparations at the factory, working closely with the central rollout team and local business managers.
The role
You will be the main link between the production site and the central SAP programme. Your responsibility is to make sure the new solution supports local operations and that the site’s people, processes and data are ready for the change.
The scope covers purchasing materials, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and related finance processes. This is a business-facing project leadership role requiring broad SAP understanding.
Your focus
- Lead the site’s preparations for the S/4HANA rollout.
- Work with managers, process owners and key users to understand local needs and represent them within the programme.
- Make sure the proposed SAP processes work for the factory, identifying gaps and coordinating solutions.
- Coordinate business involvement in testing, training and moving existing data into SAP.
- Support cutover planning, go-live and the period immediately afterwards.
- Manage local risks, dependencies and decisions, keeping the site and central team aligned.
- Track readiness and help teams adopt new processes and ways of working.
We’re looking for
- Experience leading SAP implementations or site rollouts in manufacturing environments, ideally S/4HANA.
- Experience working within a global programme where a central team delivers the solution to local sites.
- Broad understanding of manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, purchasing and related finance processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work with both operational teams and SAP project teams.
- Experience coordinating business readiness, testing, training and go-live activities.
- A structured, practical approach to managing actions, risks and competing priorities.
- Fluent English; Swedish would be an advantage.
Contract details
- Duration: 12 months.
- Allocation: Full-time. Hybrid.
- Onsite: Approx 4 days per week. A travel arrangement involving arrival Monday before lunch and departure Thursday after lunch may be considered.
