Step into an SAP Production Consultant role with real ownership and the mandate to create tangible value in your organization. My customer is in the middle of an exciting IT transformation to bring structure, standardization and long?term solutions to a global setup - giving your role a unique chance to shape our global template and play a key part in a strategically important journey.
You will work closely with the colleagues within production, speaking the language of operators and technicians and translating practical, shop?floor needs into scalable SAP PP solutions. Experience within a production environment is a strong advantage, and you will thrive in a setting with a high degree of freedom and evolving processes.
They are on a digital transformation journey with a greenfield S/4HANA program, building blueprints and rolling out a modern landscape globally, so your impact will be visible every day across our operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drive SAP PP (ECC/S/4) solutions across production planning, BOMs, routings, batch handling and QM, ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted partner to production teams — including hourly employees — by understanding real production workflows and translating needs into SAP solutions.
- Handle 2nd/3rd level support, troubleshoot system issues, and manage daily follow-up in SNOW.
- Prepare and contribute to S/4HANA activities, including business blueprinting, documentation, and global rollout (greenfield approach).
- Maintain and optimize master data and reporting across production, logistics, and quality.
- Participate in major improvement projects (MES/Fiori, operator cockpit, QM inspection forms, Routing optimization, STO flows, ECM workflow, batch setup).
What we hope you bring
- Proven track record working with SAP PP in ECC and/or S/4HANA, with solid understanding of production processes, configuration and related logistics flows.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with hourly production staff as well as managers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working with a high degree of freedom - able to self?prioritize and operate effectively in an environment with limited processes and SOPs.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex operational setups and support both daily issues and long?term improvements.
- Danish language proficiency is non?negotiable to ensure effective communication with hourly production employees and the wider organization.
- Collaborative team player who contributes positively to team spirit, knowledge sharing, and a supportive working culture.
Our headquarters are in Southern Denmark, and while we support a flexible hybrid work setup, we believe strongly in the value of in?person collaboration. Therefore, we encourage being on-site at least three days a week.
Your team operates in a hybrid setup, combining onsite colleagues with experienced external consultants, and is characterized by strong ownership and accountability. The team is given a high degree of freedom and trust to act and prioritize independently.
