SAP EWM Consultant – Contract

Overview

Our client is a leading electric vehicle manufacturer based in Arizona. They are currently running multiple SAP EWM initiatives within their manufacturing environment and require an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to augment their existing team.

This is not a greenfield implementation, nor is it a support/ticketing role. The consultant will join an active environment and contribute directly to ongoing projects involving warehouse and logistics process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work within an existing SAP EWM landscape supporting multiple active projects.
• Analyze and improve warehouse and logistics business processes.
• Configure SAP EWM solutions to support evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to drive process enhancements.
• Act as a consultant and advisor, not simply an order-taker.
• Support project delivery across several concurrent EWM workstreams.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of SAP EWM experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP EWM configuration experience.
• Experience working in project-based environments rather than pure support roles.
• Knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Ability to quickly integrate into an existing SAP environment and ongoing initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience supporting factory or production-related warehouse operations.
• Consulting background preferred.

Contract Details

• Location: Fully remote (LATAM resources welcome).
• Preferred locations: Brazil, Mexico, Argentina.
• Client location: Arizona, USA.
• Time zone: Must overlap with PST/Arizona business hours (approximately 8:00 AM PST start).
• Duration: Initial 4-month contract with potential extension.
• Utilization: 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: Mid-July (ASAP).
• No travel required.
• Consultant must use their own laptop; client VPN access will be provided.

Interview Process

1. Initial screening and shortlist.
2. Interview with Team Lead.
3. Final decision within approximately one week.

Additional Information

• Client currently has four active EWM projects and requires additional capacity due to internal resource constraints.
• Looking to hire at least one consultant immediately, with potential for a second resource.
• Target bill rate: approximately $60–65 USD/hour, depending on experience.
