Your tasks

• You are responsible for the particularly complex SAP customer application system and manage its requirements, which are submitted by several specialist departments.
• As a Solution Manager, you will play a central role in strategic solution approaches and in the development of cross-disciplinary and cross-topic solution approaches in the SAP customer environment.
• You are responsible for organizing and implementing 3rd level support for your application as well as managing small projects and smaller projects related to the application.
• You will advise on the creation of technical concepts, the creation and maintenance of IT concepts, and compliance checklists, ensuring their quality. You will also actively support IT working groups with a focus on software development and architecture.
• You will independently carry out development activities in the SAP context, in particular interface development with ABAP, as well as customizing the SAP BP/GP system.

Your profile

• You have completed a university degree or a recognized vocational training and, where applicable, other relevant additional qualifications.
• There are special qualification requirements within the framework of an SAP BP certification.
• You have several years of solid professional experience in your designated field and have knowledge of customizing the SAP BP/GP application as well as knowledge of ABAP development.
• You possess excellent communication skills, which are essential, especially for requirements management with customers and the internal coordination of implementation issues within IT and with contracted service providers. You are also able to manage service providers operationally, from contracting to controlling billing.
• To exercise IT system responsibility, you must have a basic understanding of service and software contracts in order to be able to monitor and supervise the licenses/IT costs/positions and services relating to your own application system.
