Overview
As the SAP Data Migration Solution Lead, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout SAP implementations or upgrades. Your leadership will be pivotal in designing migration strategies, coordinating technical teams, and executing seamless transitions that meet client specifications. This contract position provides the flexibility to work independently while making a significant impact on high-profile SAP projects across various industries.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in SAP data migration, particularly with SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems
• Deep knowledge of SAP data models, migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, or BODS, and best practices
• Strong experience designing and executing complex, large-scale data migration strategies
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams remotely
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail
• Clear communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting
• Experience managing data validation, testing, and troubleshooting during migration processes

Nice to Have Skills

• Relevant SAP certifications in Data Management or Project Management
• Familiarity with cloud-based migration tools and platforms
• Knowledge of industry-specific data compliance standards
• Experience working within Agile or other flexible project methodologies

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP data migration roles, with a background in consulting or freelance engagements
• Prior leadership roles in large SAP transformation initiatives
