Its IT function is centrally organised and provides the foundation for stable, efficient, and future-proof business processes. SAP is the company\'s core business system, supporting departments across the entire value chain, from production and logistics to purchasing, sales, and controlling.

To strengthen its SAP team, our client is looking for a dedicated SAP Application Consultant (m/f/d) to further develop its SAP landscape, optimise business processes, and act as a trusted point of contact for internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Support and continuously develop SAP applications within the Production Planning (PP) environment in collaboration with business departments.

• Take ownership of PP-related applications and drive their ongoing development.

• Analyse business requirements, advise stakeholders, and develop practical SAP solutions.

• Support SAP projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial concept and implementation to successful go-live.

• Identify opportunities to optimise existing business processes and contribute ideas for the further development of the SAP landscape.

• Provide user support for day-to-day operations and more complex technical and functional issues.

• Collaborate closely with the internal SAP development team and external service providers.

• Contribute to cross-organisational SAP projects and initiatives.

Your profile

You combine technical knowledge with a strong understanding of business processes and enjoy working with specialist departments to develop effective, practical solutions.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Several years of experience in SAP application consulting, SAP development, or a comparable SAP-related role.

• Experience with the SAP PP module, ideally alongside knowledge of one or more related modules, such as PM, MM, or QM.

• Basic knowledge of ABAP and/or debugging.

• An understanding of business processes within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience analysing, optimising, and implementing business processes.
