About the Role
You will join a central SAP Competence Center that supports a large, international organisation with expert guidance on SAP technologies and end?to?end SAP operations.
In this position, you will play a key role in shaping and developing the organisation’s SAP system landscape. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of SAP Basis–related tasks and contributing to the technological evolution of the SAP environment.
- Planning and implementing SAP technology solutions within major transformation and implementation projects.
- Working closely with enterprise architecture and cross?functional engineering teams to ensure consistent, scalable, and sustainable SAP architectures.
- Aligning SAP solutions with overarching business and IT strategies.
- Providing technical direction in projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, and acting as a sparring partner for project managers and architects.
- Collaborating with external service providers and strategic partners to ensure high?quality, future?proof service delivery.
- Continuously analysing the SAP landscape, identifying optimisation opportunities, and driving proactive improvements.
- Creating transparency around the existing SAP on?premise and RISE architecture and supporting its targeted further development.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in SAP Basis architecture and technical solution design.
- Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, especially SAP Monitoring, ERP, S/4HANA, and the SAP Business Technology Platform.
- Passion for innovative SAP technologies and the ambition to grow into a senior SAP expert role.
- Confident communication skills in both German and English
