SAP Basis Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a talented SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The SAP Basis Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of SAP landscapes, as well as for maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade SAP systems and related products
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to identify and resolve issues
• Implement best practices to maintain system security and data integrity
• Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members and users

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of SAP system administration, including installation, maintenance, and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and infrastructure components
• Experience with SAP Security administration and user management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• SAP certifications are a plus

Day-to-day

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues
• Installing and configuring SAP systems and related products
• Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing any issues
• Documenting system configurations and processes
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members and users
