SAP Basis & BW Consultant

A globally operating, mid-sized industrial technology company with around 2,000 employees worldwide is seeking to expand its IT team at its German headquarters.

The organisation develops and delivers advanced industrial systems and solutions across multiple sectors, including process technology and sustainable energy applications. Customers are supported throughout the entire project lifecycle — from consulting and engineering to implementation and operational support.

Your Responsibilities

• Advise and support specialist departments in defining SAP and IT requirements to optimise business processes

• Design and implement efficient IT and SAP solutions in collaboration with international teams

• Take responsibility for detailed design, system configuration (customising), integration testing, and documentation within SAP environments

• Support SAP rollout projects across locations

• Provide training and 2nd level support to SAP key users and end users

• Analyse and resolve system issues

• Manage and coordinate IT-related projects

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification

• Strong experience in SAP Basis and Business Intelligence, particularly SAP BW

• Solid customising skills; ABAP knowledge is advantageous

• Experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a similar industrial setting is beneficial

• Fluent in German and English

• Structured, analytical, and process-oriented working style

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders

• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

• Willingness to travel internationally
